Depositing funds from Japan

In Japan, I use Revolut. I transfer Yen from my local bank machine to Revolut. Then, change to US dollar. Then, I send to Kinesis. It’s simple. As a matter of fact, once it’s set up (after your first transfer), you can have the funds in your Kinesis account—same day. When I transfer from my bank to Revolut before 9:00am, the Yen hits my Revolut around noon. I transfer to US dollar, then hit the Kinesis button in Revolut (which is already set up from your initial transfer) and it’s done. I usually get a Deposit message from Kinesis before 5pm—same day.

Note: the initial deposit takes a couple of days, if I remember correctly.
