Hello Andrew,
The seemingly confused messages by BRICS could well be intentional, to throw the rst of the world off the scent, but the proposed BRICS currency seems to be different from the proposed BRICS stablecoin. It sounds to me like the launch of the commodity-backed BRICS stablecoin for settlement of trade deficits is far closer than the launch of a common gold-backed BRICS currency. Please would you clarify what you mean when you say a currency has been greenlighted? Some very recent quotes by Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov are here: https://www.saba.ye/en/news3324676.htm
