Pre-registration for Kinesis Virtual Card is now open

THIS IS AN UNOFFICIAL PLACEHOLDER POST TO ACCOMODATE THE DISCUSSION IN PROGRESS ON A NEWLY AVAILABLE FEATURE ON THE KINESIS WEBSITE.

As of Monday 30th September, pre-registration for the new Kinesis Virtual Card is now possible via the Kinesis web app.

Uchiki, thanks for coming to my aid. As you can see from my Mac screenshot below, when I am logged into KMS, I see no virtual card icon or language such as you show. I remember that there used to be one on the left side, but I haven't seen it for a while. What am I doing wrong?

Yes, I do live in Georgia, an approved country.

Thanks for posting the screenshot. I can see that not having the Virtual Card option on the left is preventing you from getting to the screen

Like CM, SteveW and Lozion, I'm wondering if this is due to you not having had the most recent card - perhaps Georgia wasn't a supported country for that card.

This may affect a number of people, so I'll get it reported as a potentially wider issue.
If you also send the above screenshot to Support and mention that the Virtual Card option is not showing and that you're in Georgia, a supported country for the new card, then they will also have a record of your specific case.

AIM, thanks for trying. I don't have an Android device. I haven't been able to use the Kinesis app on my iPhone for many months. Kinesis live-chat "support" blew me off immediately and said ask my account manager, whom I emailed. Maybe in a few months I will get answers.
Open your App Store click on your profile picture on the top right.

Click on apps and look through the list I have been successful reinstalling kinesis app when it was uninstalled.

As I previously had the app before it was removed from the store I was able to reinstall.
 
I received mail from Kinesis with invitation to sign up for new card. I have VDC from early days. It is still in my phone even that sounds like it is out of commission.
Something interesting happened. I clicked "Pre-Register" button in e-mail and sure enough Kinesis login and after that site opened. I clicked to "Virtual Card" link on the left and instead of opening card screen link disappeared from the list. There is no place to pre-register. Are you having the same experience?

The following may help.

You need to use the web application to register ie https://kms.kinesis.money/ rather than the mobile apps.
Given that it is mobile sensitive, you should be able to comfortably use it on a desktop/laptop or mobile device.

1 Once you've logged in, look at the options down the left hand side. Depending on the screen width of the device you're using, click on Virtual card (as in AlM's screenshot) or the card icon as Lozion mentioned.

2 You should then see this screen.
It's the same as AlM posted, but as this is from an account that hasn't yet registered, it shows the button that you need to click on.
All you need to do is to click on that Pre-Register button and you're done.

I use WEB KMS only and here are the screenshots, first one as soon as I log in:

After I click "Virtual Card" i get front page again and that selection is gone.

So no card for me. Can't sign up for new one.

Send your report and screenshots to support@kinesis.money along with your KM number.

I've just tried to reproduce what you're experiencing on an account that hasn't pre-registered and I get the pre-registration page.

Croatia is on the list of supported countries, so it's not that.
Might just be something account specific.
 
I will and just spoke to my friend from same place whom I brought into Kinesis. Same problem, not found link page. Wrote to support and got answer to try different browsers and he got the same result with 4 browsers. I tried Brave and Firefox so far. Anyway, I'll send them an e-mail.
 
Answer from support:
Desktop/Laptop:

- In your Browser, go to Settings on the top right screen.

- Select the Security And Privacy tab.

- Select Browser Data and then check on Cache and cookies.

- Select Clear Data.

- Turn off any VPN.

- Turn off any AdBlock.

- We recommend using the Google Chrome's incognito window.

P.S. been there, done that, no change.
 
Thank you @ZackP before raising a ticket could you please try to reproduce this bug in the app? this is in order to have as much information as possible so that our IT team can work properly.
Additionally, could you please give me your kms number and your friend's as well.

Hi @ZackP, we have followed up on this. Our IT Team has sorted this error. Can you and your friend, Zdravko try to pre-register?
